
Jo-Anne Rooney - Agnetha
Jo-Anne has been performing in the entertainment industry since age 2, with
her first regular television appearance at age 6. A second generation
musician, she learned guitar and was writing songs for her original
band at age 10, opening for touring acts such as Tommy Cash (of the
Johnny Cash family) in N.B. Through the years she's been a featured
songwriter on CBC radio, and played across Canada ranging in format
from a single acoustic act to the lead singer in an 11 piece blues band.
In the tribute world she has traveled the world and been featured on
national television documentaries and series. Jo-Anne has been on stage
with numerous recording artists such as Jeff Healey, 5440, Destiny's
Child, Cameo Blues Band etc. If she's not singing, acting, designing
show costumes or instrument cases, Jo-Anne's working a relief shift
as a behavior therapist in the field of Acquired Brain Injury.
Suzanne Ogrinc-Lock – Anni-Frid (Frida)
Suzanne’s multi-instrumental and vocal agility, coupled wither dynamic spirit has enabled her to maintain a career as one of the hardest working musicians in Southern Ontario. She has dedicated her life to music of all genres; enrolled at age 5 at the Cleveland Institute of Music, a Performance Flute major at UNCC, and continues an exciting musical career that spans the globe from Cuba to Dubai. Whether performing solo piano gigs, as a touring vocalist with tribute acts, or gigging with duos and full bands at casino or corporate shows, Suzanne’s musical journey has put her on international stages with or opening for recording acts such as BJ Thomas, Aaron Tippin, Eddie Money, KC & The Sunshine Band, Taylor Dayne, and Gary Puckett. Singing is her passion, and it shows every night on stage.
Jeff
"Scott" Artamonov - Benny, Piano
A native of Toronto, Jeff started playing piano at age 7, studying at
the Royal Conservatory of Music for 11 years. His professional career
began in the late 1980’s, quickly gaining regular work in local
clubs and piano bars. During this time, Jeff also managed to complete
a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University. Since 1995 he has toured
North America extensively with the band “Bennie and the Jets”
– a tribute to Elton John – a band he founded and plays
the lead character in. Along with his strong vocal and piano skills
on stage, Jeff is also an accomplished songwriter, penning several songs
for himself and others in his custom designed digital recording studio
at his home.
Rich
Hamelin - Bjorn, Lead Guitar
Rich Hamelin has been a well respected Canadian musician and songwriter
for the last 15 years. In the early 90's Rich studied music composition
and arranging at the world famous Humber college music program. He has toured
Canada with original band "Tarnished Gallahad" in the mid
90's with various television and radio appearances. As well as recording
4 original albums Rich is one of the top studio musicians in Toronto,
performing on guitar, bass, keys and vocals as well as creating and
arranging music for Proctor and Gamble, Fuse and many other North American
companies. Rich also scored the music to horror films Abandoned
(2004) and Zombie Night (2003). Throughout the years Rich has also donated
his time to perform for the Alziemer Society, cancer - relay for life
benefit concert, as well as organizing a 2003 show to raise money for
Toronto's homeless "Out of the Cold " organization. Rich has
played guitar ,bass and keys for different shows including various Legends
shows, Everybody Has A Dream - Through The Music Of Billy
Joel and Surfs Up (Beach Boys). Rich is also one of the top guitar/piano/group
instructors at the Merriam School of Music.
