


Joe
Bartello - General Manager, Drummer
At the age of 3, Joe was inspired to become a percussionist when his
parents took him to see Gene Krupa. That inspiration has continued throughout
his life. Extensive training in a wide variety of music styles during
high school, privately, and university – where he attended the
University of Western Ontario for music education – has resulted
in this musician’s fourteen year professional career performing
with recording artists, touring around the world, and becoming a private
educator.
Jamie Shear - Musical Director, Lead
Guitar
Jamie is hailed as one of the best musical directors in the business.
He honed his craft as musical director at the Deerhurst Resort in Northern
ON, for a young Shania Twain, and followed by ‘Legend’s
Alive’. Jamie is meticulous in detail, assembling the best musicians,
to ensure the proper instrumentation and presentation. His work ethic,
along with his virtuoso guitar playing have earned Jamie the respect
of musicians and performers around the world.
Andrew Canning - Bass Player
Andrew has been a busy and well respected bass player in the Toronto
scene for more than 15 years, playing a variety of jazz, funk, country,
Celtic, disco, pop and show tunes. He has attended the Humber Music
Program, the York University Jazz Performance Program and has spent
years associated with the well respected Howard Reese Jazz workshop.
Jordan
Vogel - Multi-Production Keyboards
An Honours graduate of the Jazz/Commercial Music Program at Humber College
of Applied Arts and Technology, Jordan has over 15 years experience
in the music business. He worked 4 seasons doing Music pre production
on the television series Earth: Final Conflict. He also teaches at the
International Academy Of Design and privately, writes and records in
his home studio using Pro Tools and Logic software. He tours as a multi-keyboardist
some of Canada's premier tribute bands, Benny and the Jets and Legends
Alive and is regularly involved with several recording projects. His
experience includes audio and music editing, sound design, orchestration
with advanced MIDI applications, sampling, sequencing, and synthesizer
programming. In addition, Jordan has accumulated hundreds of hours in
recording studios and thousands in live performances.
Tristen
Bakker - Back-up Vocals
To coin an old phrase – Tristen’s been singing since before
she could speak. She honed her vocal skills first at the Royal Conservatory
of Music and then with Jacqueline Juriansz in Toronto, where she continues
to study. She developed her stage skills performing in choir and theatre
productions through out her school career. She is now the front person
in her own rock band “The Mummers” in which she also writes
and plays rhythm guitar. They are currently working on their second
full-length album. Tristen also works as a picture editor and voice
over artist in film and television.
Lisa
Skurdelis - Back-up Vocals
Lisa is a lyric soprano whose repertoire and influences include musical
theatre style songs as well as light classical, religious, easy listening
and folk. Lisa donates her time and talents singing with the Goodmans
Vocal Group, the Laurentian University Choir and The Musical Moments
for numerous fundraisers such as The Univ. of Toronto's Hart House and
the Princess Margaret Hospital to name a few. Lisa was a finalist in
the CJMX-FM Talent Search.
